The rod is built on a high-modulus 40+46T carbon blank with a non-polished matte finish. This construction provides a responsive and well-balanced feel, while also helping to reduce line sticking to the blank in wet conditions. The medium-fast action combined with a sensitive tip allows for accurate presentation and improved strike detection.

Spigot ferrule connections ensure a consistent and even bend throughout the rod, both when casting and playing fish. The rod is fitted with lightweight Pacific Bay guides to reduce overall weight and improve line control. A practical addition is the use of a snake guide near the tip section, which helps minimise line tangling during casting and drift control.

The handle is made from high-quality Portuguese AAAA cork, reinforced with rubber cork in key areas for durability. It features a half-wells design with a small fighting butt, offering comfort and control during longer sessions. A CNC-machined aluminium reel seat with a wood insert provides a secure and well-balanced setup.

With its 10’6” length and #4 line rating, this model is well suited to a wide range of river nymphing situations where reach, control and sensitivity are essential. The rod is built in a 4-piece configuration for easy transport and comes supplied in a protective Cordura tube with individual compartments.
