Traper Montana Pro ATS Wading Boots

The TRAPER Montana Pro ATS Wading Boots are designed for anglers who demand durability, comfort and secure footing in challenging wading environments. Built as an upgraded version of the Montana Pro, this model introduces a modern ATS (Advanced Tension System) lacing system, offering fast, precise and reliable adjustment.

The ATS system uses a durable dial and stainless steel-coated cable, allowing the boots to be tightened quickly and evenly across the foot. This design improves comfort, ensures a secure fit and makes adjustments easy even in wet conditions.

The upper is constructed from thick nubuck leather, providing strength, long-term durability and excellent ankle support. Key areas such as the toe, heel and ankle are reinforced with additional TPU and thermally formed rubber to protect against impacts and abrasion. Non-absorbent synthetic materials with a double TPU coating are used in less exposed areas to improve durability while reducing water retention.

A specially designed tongue helps prevent sand and gravel from entering the boot, improving comfort and helping extend the life of neoprene wading socks. A stainless steel D-ring is also included for attaching gravel guards.

The multi-layer sole features a wide profile and deep tread pattern, delivering strong grip and stability across varied riverbeds. Reinforced mounting points allow for the use of studs when extra traction is needed. Inside, a polyurethane midsole provides effective shock absorption, helping reduce fatigue and protect joints during long sessions in the water.

Additional comfort comes from a cushioned interior lining made from flexible foam, while a strong rear pull loop makes the boots easier to put on. Each pair is supplied with an ATS repair kit for added practicality.
